Goodville Mutual Among the Country's Top 50

For two consecutive years, 2010 and 2011, Goodville Mutual, based in New Holland, Pa, has been recognized by the Ward Group as one of the top 50 performing property and casualty insurance companies in the nation.

The Ward Group, a financial and management consulting firm specializing in the insurance industry, analyzes over 3,000 property-casualty insurance firms annually. The ranking is based on rigorous tests in financial safety and consistency over a five year period including compound growth in premiums, surplus and a premium minimum of $50 million among other considerations. Ward's 50 companies achieve superior returns on equity, growth in revenue, operating costs and efficiency compared to the rest of the industry.
