What is EFT?
EFT is an electronic funds transfer which means that funds are withdrawn automatically from your checking or savings account, on a regular basis, to pay your insurance bill. There is no need to write a check or worry about whether your payment has reached us on time.
How does EFT work?
| |
The date and the amount to be withdrawn will be shown on your Premium Statement. If your withdrawal date falls on a weekend or holiday, the transaction will occur on the next regular banking day. |
| |
All future withdraws will be based on the payment plan you select until the policy premium is paid in full. |
| |
When you choose EFT, it automatically continues at policy renewal on the same payment plan until you make a change. |
| |
To change your bank account information or to add another policy, complete and resubmit an application form. |
| |
If there are insufficient funds in your account to cover the EFT, a fee will be applied. |
| |
Business policies subject to audits: If your policy is subject to a premium audit and the audit results in a lower premium, we will apply the credit to your account and send you a statement. If the audit results in a higher premium, we will notify you when the amount will be deducted from your account. |
