What is the Policyholders site?

The Policyholders site is a secure web site where you can manage all of your Goodville policies, anytime, anywhere. From claim reporting to account status and payment.

What can I do in the Policyholders site?

Once you've registered your policies with the Policyholders site, you'll have access to all features included in our point-and-click policy management portal;

  • View your policy information
  • Make a payment
  • Set up a recurring EFT payment plan
  • Report a claim

Will I be notified when I complete an activity within the Policyholders site?

When you make a payment or report a claim through the Policyholders site, a confirmation email will be sent to you unless you elect not to receive one.

How can I register?

You can register online by answering a few quick questions and setting a User ID and password. Or, if you prefer, your local agent can assist you with the registration process.

What information is needed to register?

Registration requires your name, email address and your address. You will need to register at least one policy using its six digit policy number, the effective date and the zip code listed on the policy. You will also be required to enter security information so we can identify you if your user ID or password is forgotten.

What Policies can be registered?

You may register any active policy with Goodville. You will need the policy number, effective date and zip code of the current policy enforce with Goodville.

How do I activate my Policyholder registration?

Within ten days of your registration for the Policyholders site, we'll send you a letter with your Personal Activation Key. The next time you log on, you'll be prompted to enter this key. Keep in mind that you will still be able to pay your bill, view your policy information or report a claim prior to receiving your activation key.

What is the difference between the Personal Activation Key and a password?

At registration, you set a password for logging on to the Policyholders site. Your Personal Activation Key is a one-time code used as an extra security measure to activate your registration and give you full access to all the features of the Policyholders site.

What about security while I'm online within the Policyholders site?

We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, a secure server and security protocol, to safe guard the information you submit. Whenever you exit the Policyholders site, you are automatically logged off if there is no activity for 20 minutes. You can also help us protect your information by keeping your User ID and Password confidential, using a unique password and changing it often. You should also avoid leaving your computer unattended while logged onto the Policyholders site. After you've finished accessing your information, exit the Policyholders site to ensure that your information is not accessible if you leave your computer and your session has not been timed out.

What are the computer requirements for the Policyholders site?

The Policyholders site is best viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher. In addition, you should have Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher. You may experience problems if you are using a previous version.

Why do I need to enable cookies in order to manage my policies?

The Policyholders site allows customers to manage policies and other sensitive data. We use cookies to help ensure the security of your information. Goodville uses temporary cookies to verify the authenticity of requests for data throughout your visit to our site. Should you need to enable your browser, the path in Internet Explorer to set your cookies is: Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom Level, scroll down to Cookies and choose "enable" for both stored and per-session cookies.

What can I do if I forget my User ID and password?

You can retrieve your User ID and reset your password by following the instructions for Forgot Your User ID and Password. Or you can call us at 1-800-448-4622.

What should I do if I try to log on and receive an error message that says my User ID or password is incorrect?

Please follow the instructions for Forgot Your User ID and Password. If you still have difficulty, please call us at 1-800-448-4622 and we�ll be able to get you back on track.
