Goodville Mutual Casualty Company Announces Appointment of New Board Members

Goodville Mutual Casualty Company is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors. Coming from diverse backgrounds with robust financial and business acumen, the new board members bring extensive business and strategic leadership experience to the team. The new directors are Jean Kilheffer Hess, Executive Director of Mennonite Life (formerly the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society); and Manuel (Manny) Nuñez, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs at the Villanova School of Business.

Mrs. Kilheffer Hess has been the Executive Director of Mennonite Life since 2018 and serves as Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania Museums Board. Prior to joining Mennonite Life, she was the Director of Strategic Development at United Zion Retirement Community in Lititz, PA; a Coach, Consultant, and Transitional Executive with Kilheffer Hess Consulting; and the East Coast Financial Development Coordinator at Mennonite Central Committee.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Messiah University in Grantham, PA, after which she completed her Certified Public Accountant credentials, working five years in the industry as a staff auditor.  Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, IN.  Jean and her husband reside in Lancaster, PA.

Mr. Nuñez currently serves as Associate Dean of Graduate Programs at the Villanova School of Business.  In that role, he oversees the MBA program, specialty master’s programs, and serves as Professor of the Practice in Management & Operations.  Prior to joining Villanova University, he served as the Managing Director, External and Government Affairs for the Inter-American Foundation (IAF), a foreign assistance agency of the United States government.  In that role, he led private sector partnerships, congressional affairs, public affairs, and managed the agency’s relationship with the White House and other key stakeholders.  Earlier in his career, he worked in the healthcare sales and marketing industry, including 16 years with Merck & Co. Inc.  Manny received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA, where he currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees.  He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Villanova University and has completed additional post-baccalaureate studies at the University of Pennsylvania.  Manny and his wife live in suburban Philadelphia.
